After a lifetime of good health and prosperity I became paralyzed on my right side following a stroke and a bout with Lymes Disease in 1993. I experienced what it’s like to be disabled and the rejection of the able bodied world. I particularly felt a need to help children who have disabilities and was anxious to volunteer my services but I didn’t know where to start. I saw Denny on his first appearance with “One on One” with Steve Adubato and I knew in a flash that he was doing exactly what is needed to change the world. I have been involved with this fine organization since that day. The message of Generation Hope is the future for a better world.

"I first heard Denny's story in 2000 while we were both working at UPS. We
soon became friends and I was so moved by the man and his mission, that I wanted to know how I could help him forward his cause. By getting Denny's message into our schools, I know we can make a difference in the way kids treat each other -- now and in the future."
John , a macro-economic financial advisor, lives in Catasauqua, PA with his wife, Robin, and children Tina, Wes, Nat and Kim.

Serving as the Superindent of Schools for the Catasauqua Area School District allows me to influence our entire organization by impressing upon others the strengths and benefits of embracing our differences. All organizations face some level of intolerance and indifference. However, at Catasauqua Area School District, we have decided to deal with the issues and maximize our potential with "No Excuses. No Limits." Hosting the first ever student-led Generation Hope Club is truly an honor and privilege!

School Psychologist, Catasauqua Area School District
The Catasauqua Area School District is taking a proactive role, embracing tolerance and diversity issues. The district has established an Anti-Bullying Task Force; its major goal involving the school community to raise awareness of bullying and its effects on our students, providing curriculum materials to our teachers and parents, and promoting activities throughout the school year to address these issues. Generation Hope and Denny Chipollini have been a valuable resource as the district deals with these issues and I am proud to be a member of the Board of Directors.

I am a sixth grade learning Support teacher in Perkiomen Valley School district. I have taught for almost 29 years. I live with my husband, Robert McNaughton and our daughter, Marissa in Cedars, Pennsylvania. My challenge in life has been learning to live with chronic depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. My greatest accomplishment was the adoption of our daughter, Marissa from El Salvador. My favorite quote is: "The love you take is equal to the love you make." (The Beatles, Abbey Road) and "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world." (Unknown)
